Hey folks! I know my last post might have been quite a bore since it was me talking about how I have been feeling. But, I am back.

So, for this post we’re going to be talking about some Halloween related movies and TV shows you can watch if you would like.

Note: These movies and TV shows might be a little old and most of the ones I am going to be listing probably aren’t gonna be classics (sorry)

  • Phantom of the Megaplex. This movie isn’t really that scary or even scary at all. I watched this movie on Disney.

The central character, played by Taylor Handley, is Pete Riley, the 17-year-old assistant manager of the theater. He has to cope with malfunctioning equipment, disappearing staff, and a broken popcorn machine, among other headaches. He investigates to see if the troubles are coincidence or the result of sabotage by a mysterious “phantom”. The senior manager of the theater is played by Rich Hutchman, and Ricky Mabe, Julia Chantrey, Joanne Boland, J.J. Stocker, and Lisa Ng appear as other employees of the theater. Caitlin Wachs and Jacob Smith play the central character’s younger siblings, and Heather and Jennifer Bertram appear as his love interest and her friend.” – Wikipedia

  • The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is categorized as a horror show and so far it’s good and quite entertaining (I am on season 1). I am currently watching this on Netflix.

“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set in the fictional town of Greendale. It is a dark coming-of-age story that includes horror and witchcraft. Sabrina Spellman must reconcile her dual nature as a half-Witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.[1]” – Wikipedia

  • American Horror Story. This show is really entertaining and scary. If you are into that sort of stuff, you should totally check it out. This can also be seen on Netflix. You can watch this from every season, but the seasons are all connected in one way or another.

This is a horror series in which every season tells a different story. The first season is about a haunted house and the family that has moved into it. The second season centers around an insane asylum and a man who is wrongly accused of murdering several women, including his wife. The third season tells the story of a coven of witches trying to figure out who their new “supreme” is. The fourth season is about a “Freak Show” and the lives of its performers. The fifth season is about the employees and guests at the Hotel Cortez, a building made as a secret torture chamber in the 1920s. The sixth season is about a farmhouse near Roanoke, North Carolina, that is besieged by the ghosts of the infamous lost colonists and other strange happenings.”—Erica Adina Amaral (imbd.com)

  • Truth or Dare. This is an averagely scary movie, but it’s good. This can also be viewed on Netflix.

“Olivia Barron is a college senior who is seen by others as a good girl who always puts others’ needs before her own. During her last spring break, although she initially plans to build houses with Habitat for Humanity, her best friend Markie convinces her to come to Mexico with her friends instead. At a bar, Olivia meets a man named Carter who invites them to go drinking at an abandoned church. There, Carter suggests they play truth or dare. During the game, their friend Tyson reveals that Olivia has a secret crush on Lucas, Markie’s boyfriend, which she denies. Carter admits that he tricked them into playing a supernatural version of the game and warns them to do whatever the game asks or they will die.” – Wikipedia

  • The Bye Bye Man. I absolutely love this movie! It is a great mystery and was quite interesting. This movie can be watched on Netflix.

“In 1969, a mass murder occurs in Madison, Wisconsin during which a man kills people on his block. As he shoots the neighbors, he continuously asks if anyone spoke about “the name” which cannot be said. He also repeats the same thing over and over: “Don’t say it, don’t think it; don’t think it, don’t say it.” – Wikipedia

  • Sinister. In my opinion, this wasn’t that scary but it was still a good movie. I also watched this on Netflix

“True crime writer Ellison Oswalt moves into a home with his wife Tracy, their son, Trevor, and their daughter, Ashley. Ellison moved into a home where a family was murdered and intends to use their case as the basis for his new book. He hopes his research reveals the fate of the Stevenson family’s fifth member, Stephanie, who disappeared following the murders.” – Wikipedia

  • Girl vs. Monster. This movie is more for older kids (probably ranging from 10-12) but nonetheless a great movie. I loved this growing up and would totally recommend it to anyone! This can be viewed on Disney+.

“A teen girl goes on a mission to recapture a dangerous monster that she accidentally released before it can do harm to her parents.” – imdb.com

  • Goosebumps. This is quite a spooky series that my 5th grade class would always watch! Although, this is a show for children, just be careful since some kids might not like it. The series can be found on Netflix.

Goosebumps is a Canadian/American horror anthology television series based on R. L. Stine‘s best-selling Goosebumps book series. It is an anthology of stories about tweens and young teens finding themselves in creepy and unusual situations, typically involving supernatural elements or the occult.”– Wikipedia

  • Veronica. This is a Spanish movie (I’m pretty sure) but there are captions and it is a great movie. Also one of my favorites. This can be found on Netflix.

“The film opens in 1991 in medias res, with emergency services responding to a call from a young girl. She sounds panicked and screams about her brother Antoñito, and something “coming to get him”, before the call cuts off.” – Wikipedia

  • Annabelle. This is, in my opinion, one of the classics that I grew up watching and was so obsessed with! This can also be found in Netflix

“A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.” – Wikipedia

  • Cult of Chucky. This movie has to be one of the classics too! And can be found on Netflix.

“Chucky returns to terrorize his human victim, Nica. Meanwhile, the killer doll has some scores to settle with his old enemies, with the help of his former wife.”– imbd.com

  • Supernatural. This may not be that spooky but nonetheless it is a supernatural show (that the show indicates) and is a great binge! I am pretty sure all the seasons are on Netflix.

“Two brothers follow their father’s footsteps as hunters, fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons and gods that roam the earth” – imbd.com

  • The Vampire Diaries. Once again, this may not be spooky either but still an amazing show if you are into supernatural stuff. This TV show can also be binged on Netflix!

“The lives, loves, dangers and disasters in the town, Mystic Falls, Virginia. Creatures of unspeakable horror lurk beneath this town as a teenage girl is suddenly torn between two vampire brothers.” – imbd.com

Anyway, I hope you all liked this! I am sorry if this may not be your style but it’s okay because I will try to publish more posts on other things that won’t be Halloween themed ( I will try to do both types of posts).

Feel free to comment what you think of these shows/movies and some more suggestions. Remember that you are loved and will forever be loved.

Please try to hydrate and have a nice, fulfilling meal. Thank you for reading and have an amazing day/night!
