Hey folks! I hope you all are doing well and staying safe. I am so sorry that I haven’t been posting for a while (once again, I have been busy oops). I might starting posting only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but that topic is for another day.
Moving on, one thing I love to do with my mom and younger brother is engaging activities!
I have also been planning activities for some clubs I am part of, so I think it’s kinda obvious that I love doing all sorts of fun and interative activities!
Although, most of the activities I have been planning are virtual and most of them are related to helping the planet (blog post on that coming later) and books, I have tried my best to see some Halloween related ones too.
Note: These activities are not the most original and have probably been done before.
Leaf painting.
For this all you’re gonna need is a canvas (or some paper), leaves, and paint. All you have to do is put the paint on the leaf and press it on the canvas/paper.
2. Vampire pumpkin.
Now, this is more of a pumpkin carving idea but I think it’s so cute! All you do is carve out the bottom part of a pumpkin (preferbally a small one), insert fake vampire teeth, and glue on some eyes!
3. Ghost banner.
For this one all you need is some paper, a pencil, and scissors. All you have to do is trace out a ghost, cut it out, and voila!
4. Colorful roses.
This may not be that Halloween themed, but can help contribute to a darker theme. All you need is some paper and scissors. Here is the tutorial.
5. Volcanic pumpkin.
This one is a great science experiment for kids and is so fun to watch! All you need is a carved pumpkin or a toilet paper roll, hydrogen peroxide, dry yeast, dish soap, and food color (optional). Here is the tutorial for it.
6. Spider pumpkin.
This is another pumpkin one, but all you need for this craft is a pumpkin, black paint, googly eyes, and chenille. All you need to do is paint the pumpkin black, cut the chenille into tiny pieces, glue and glue the googly eyes and chenille. Check out this article for more steps and the final picture!
I hope you all enjoyed this! I’m sorry that this may have been a sort blog post, but I promise I have more in store! Please remember that you are loved and will forever be valid.
Hey folks! I know my last post might have been quite a bore since it was me talking about how I have been feeling. But, I am back.
So, for this post we’re going to be talking about some Halloween related movies and TV shows you can watch if you would like.
Note: These movies and TV shows might be a little oldand most of the ones I am going to be listing probably aren’t gonna be classics (sorry)
Phantom of the Megaplex. This movie isn’t really that scary or even scary at all. I watched this movie on Disney.
The central character, played by Taylor Handley, is Pete Riley, the 17-year-old assistant manager of the theater. He has to cope with malfunctioning equipment, disappearing staff, and a broken popcorn machine, among other headaches. He investigates to see if the troubles are coincidence or the result of sabotage by a mysterious “phantom”. The senior manager of the theater is played by Rich Hutchman, and Ricky Mabe, Julia Chantrey, Joanne Boland, J.J. Stocker, and Lisa Ng appear as other employees of the theater. Caitlin Wachs and Jacob Smith play the central character’s younger siblings, and Heather and Jennifer Bertram appear as his love interest and her friend.” – Wikipedia
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is categorized as a horror show and so far it’s good and quite entertaining (I am on season 1). I am currently watching this on Netflix.
“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is set in the fictional town of Greendale. It is a dark coming-of-age story that includes horror and witchcraft. Sabrina Spellman must reconcile her dual nature as a half-Witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.[1]” – Wikipedia
American Horror Story. This show is really entertaining and scary. If you are into that sort of stuff, you should totally check it out. This can also be seen on Netflix. You can watch this from every season, but the seasons are all connected in one way or another.
“This is a horror series in which every season tells a different story. The first season is about a haunted house and the family that has moved into it. The second season centers around an insane asylum and a man who is wrongly accused of murdering several women, including his wife. The third season tells the story of a coven of witches trying to figure out who their new “supreme” is. The fourth season is about a “Freak Show” and the lives of its performers. The fifth season is about the employees and guests at the Hotel Cortez, a building made as a secret torture chamber in the 1920s. The sixth season is about a farmhouse near Roanoke, North Carolina, that is besieged by the ghosts of the infamous lost colonists and other strange happenings.”—Erica Adina Amaral (imbd.com)
Truth or Dare. This is an averagely scary movie, but it’s good. This can also be viewed on Netflix.
“Olivia Barron is a college senior who is seen by others as a good girl who always puts others’ needs before her own. During her last spring break, although she initially plans to build houses with Habitat for Humanity, her best friend Markie convinces her to come to Mexico with her friends instead. At a bar, Olivia meets a man named Carter who invites them to go drinking at an abandoned church. There, Carter suggests they play truth or dare. During the game, their friend Tyson reveals that Olivia has a secret crush on Lucas, Markie’s boyfriend, which she denies. Carter admits that he tricked them into playing a supernatural version of the game and warns them to do whatever the game asks or they will die.” – Wikipedia
The Bye Bye Man. I absolutely love this movie! It is a great mystery and was quite interesting. This movie can be watched on Netflix.
“In 1969, a mass murder occurs in Madison, Wisconsin during which a man kills people on his block. As he shoots the neighbors, he continuously asks if anyone spoke about “the name” which cannot be said. He also repeats the same thing over and over: “Don’t say it, don’t think it; don’t think it, don’t say it.” – Wikipedia
Sinister. In my opinion, this wasn’t that scary but it was still a good movie. I also watched this on Netflix
“True crime writer Ellison Oswalt moves into a home with his wife Tracy, their son, Trevor, and their daughter, Ashley. Ellison moved into a home where a family was murdered and intends to use their case as the basis for his new book. He hopes his research reveals the fate of the Stevenson family’s fifth member, Stephanie, who disappeared following the murders.” – Wikipedia
Girl vs. Monster. This movie is more for older kids (probably ranging from 10-12) but nonetheless a great movie. I loved this growing up and would totally recommend it to anyone! This can be viewed on Disney+.
“A teen girl goes on a mission to recapture a dangerous monster that she accidentally released before it can do harm to her parents.” – imdb.com
Goosebumps. This is quite a spooky series that my 5th grade class would always watch! Although, this is a show for children, just be careful since some kids might not like it. The series can be found on Netflix.
“Goosebumps is a Canadian/American horroranthologytelevision series based on R. L. Stine‘s best-selling Goosebumps book series. It is an anthology of stories about tweens and young teens finding themselves in creepy and unusual situations, typically involving supernatural elements or the occult.”– Wikipedia
Veronica. This is a Spanish movie (I’m pretty sure) but there are captions and it is a great movie. Also one of my favorites. This can be found on Netflix.
“The film opens in 1991 in medias res, with emergency services responding to a call from a young girl. She sounds panicked and screams about her brother Antoñito, and something “coming to get him”, before the call cuts off.” – Wikipedia
Annabelle. This is, in my opinion, one of the classics that I grew up watching and was so obsessed with! This can also be found in Netflix
“A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.” – Wikipedia
Cult of Chucky. This movie has to be one of the classics too! And can be found on Netflix.
“Chucky returns to terrorize his human victim, Nica. Meanwhile, the killer doll has some scores to settle with his old enemies, with the help of his former wife.”– imbd.com
Supernatural. This may not be that spooky but nonetheless it is a supernatural show (that the show indicates) and is a great binge! I am pretty sure all the seasons are on Netflix.
“Two brothers follow their father’s footsteps as hunters, fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons and gods that roam the earth” – imbd.com
The Vampire Diaries. Once again, this may not be spooky either but still an amazing show if you are into supernatural stuff. This TV show can also be binged on Netflix!
“The lives, loves, dangers and disasters in the town, Mystic Falls, Virginia. Creatures of unspeakable horror lurk beneath this town as a teenage girl is suddenly torn between two vampire brothers.” – imbd.com
Anyway, I hope you all liked this! I am sorry if this may not be your style but it’s okay because I will try to publish more posts on other things that won’t be Halloween themed ( I will try to do both types of posts).
Feel free to comment what you think of these shows/movies and some more suggestions. Remember that you are loved and will forever be loved.
Please try to hydrate and have a nice, fulfilling meal. Thank you for reading and have an amazing day/night!
Hey folks! I hope you all are doing well and staying safe. Today I want to talk about how I have been feeling and how I might be trying to help myself.
For the past few months, I have been so overwhelmed and on top of that I have started to feel like I don’t know who I am.
I know that I live with my family, go to school, have great friends, but that;s it. I mean I can’t even ask a simple question like “What’s your favorite color?”
Last year, I was the short girl who got funnier the more you got to know her. I had a new video, new book, new story every day to talk about. I gave all my friends hugs and supported them in every way I could. I was so into psychology and wanted to help people.
Now, I don’t even know the right things to say at times and have been finding myself re-reading or re-watching the same thing over and over and when I do watch or read something, I barely remember. I have barely texted my friends and haven’t picked up a psychology book in months.
So many things are changing, not just in the world, but within me and I have no idea how to cope. My life feels like it’s a constant loop of work and fake smiles. I mean I still do everyday things. I have a whole to-do list of assignments I have to do, watch all sorts of YouTube channels (maybe Netflix shows), and make sure to do what needs to be done.
I am so insecure and doubt myself so much. There are times where I can’t even properly talk about stuff I like or about something from the past, because I won’t know if it’s fake. It is almost like there are two different people living inside of me. I have always loved being the center of attention and loved it when people asked me about me, but now just friends asking me about my day makes me uncomfortable.
Here are some things that I might start doing to help me find myself again.
Note: These are no way recommended to be used in replacement of professional help and are just some things that I want to try to use to help myself. Also, I will be writing another post on an update on the things to see if it helped or not.
Try new things. Since my main problem is the fact that I don’t know much about myself and feel like I don’t have a personality, I will try to try new hobbies and interests that are popular (and preferably cheap). Here are some things that I want to start doing
Watch different genres of TV shows and movies
Try out new hobbies
Try some things my friends like to do (It will bring us together and hopefully help me find new interests.)
Try to do things that I used to like. Although I was (and still am) really insecure, I loved reading and writing. I was very self-conscious about everything that I wrote but it brought me joy. I had amazing ideas and loved writing them down.
I also read some articles on what to do when you’re feeling lost and here are some things I took away –
Note: I am in no way trying to steal the content from those articles. I will leave the links to these articles at the end of the post. Feel free to check them out, if you want :))
Make decisions. Even if it’s small ones, make them.
Make a list of all your favorite things. It can be anything from your favorite color to your favorite to your favorite movies.
I know this was a very out of the blue and short post, but I still hope all of you enjoyed it. Please remember to hydrate and take care of yourself. You are loved and will forever be valid.
Hey folks! I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe. Sorry I haven’t posted for a while, but here I am back again. Anyway, for this post I am going to be talking about things I am going to start doing on a daily basis.
I know this might be a bit of a boring post, but it is what it is I guess. You do not have to do these since these are just things that I want to add into my routine. Feel free to use these inspiration if you all want to :))Journal. This is honestly a great stress reliever for me. I actually used to make lists on random thins when I was younger. It would help calm me down (little me with mood swings was not fun to be around.) and still does to this day, of course I try to make them a little more artistic now.
Plan out my day. Although, I don’t like to write down the times, I love to write down everything that I want to get done that day. I use an old planner where I just draw a bunch of lines and split it between my agenda and to-do list.
Check out my goals. I know I have mentioned this before, but seriously reminding yourself of what you plan on achieving is a great refresher! This may be over the top, but I have a separate notebook for my goals, where I have my weekly and monthly goals written down and how I plan on achieving them.
Talk to a family member/friend. With so much going on, with our personal lives and with the pandemic, it can be hard to talk to people and some people may have cancelled plans with their friends or family, but that doesn’t have to mean that you never talk to them. Even if it is a simple conversation, it’s still nice to reach out.
That’s it for now, but I hope all of you liked this post! Feel free to leave a comment on what are some things you plan on adding in your daily routine, or some things you already have in your daily routine.
Thank you for reading, I hope all of you remember that you re loved and will forever be valid. Don’t forget to hydrate and eat a meal or two while you are at it.
Hey folks! I hope you all are doing and sating safe. Today I wanted to talk about weekly things I am going to try to add my routine.
I have seen so many people that seem to have their lives so organized. They do a mask every Sunday, wash their hair every Monday and I want to join the party too!
Feel free to use these to find some inspiration for your weekly routine or not. These are just some things I want to do personally, so it is your choice if you want to create a weekly routine or not.
Meditate every Monday. Monday is usually one of my less busy days, so I am gonna try to use it to my advantage and meditate and try to calm down.
Play my guitar every Monday. Even though I do try to practice it everyday, I tend to be too busy at times and personally don’t like to play while I’m stressed. So, I am going to start to play every Monday and try to learn a new song (or practice) every week.
Go over my goals every Tuesday. Since school officially starts on Tuesday for me, I am going to go over my goals and set weekly goals to get me prepared for my week.
Clean my desk area every Tuesday. Again, since my week officially begins on Tuesday, I will be trying to clean my desk area since it gets very messy every week. (I can swear I am the only one there.)
Go outside for an hour (or more) every Wednesday. Since I spent most of my time inside in my room studying, studying, and studying, I am going to try to incorporate some sort of outside time for myself. We do live in a complex so, I can just walk around here or go to the park with someone (there’s two right outside my gate.)
Exfoliate every Wednesday. Will help keep my skin healthy and make me feel little less stressed.
Wash my hair every Thursday. Even though I shampoo and condition my hair every three days, I will try to do it every Thursday. Because I tend to lose track of time and usually don’t end up washing my hair (oops.)
Spend some time with my brother every Friday. My brother and I love watching cooking shows or K-dramas so, I love spending some time with him and watching some TV to help me cool down after my stressful week. We also love to do some sill crafts together or color.
Clean my whole room every Saturday. This is a great way for me to relief some more stress and have a clean room!
Do my laundry every Saturday. What can I say, being productive makes me feel better about myself
Do a face mask every Sunday. This will help me get some self-care in and feel relaxed.
Go over my notes and take any quizzes I might need to every Sunday. This helps me refresh my mind and helps me do what I need to do in my own time.
I hope you all liked my post! Feel free to add some thing you want to start doing weekly (only if you want to, of course) and remember that you are loved and will forever be valid.
Hey folks, I know it has been a hot minute since I came on here, but I’m here!
I have been so busy lately, so I have been trying to find new ways to de-stress. So, here are some things I have practiced, that I hope helps you too.
Note: These may not work for everyone and are just some things I have been doing personally. This is no way recommended to replace anything by professionals.
Put on some relaxing music. I know for me personally listening to music that makes me feel relaxed or happy helps me feel better.
Write down how you are feeling. This is one of my most favorite things to do. I love writing in my diary after a long day of nothing but work.
Change your scenery. I know for me personally, I tend to get very stressed and burn out easily after completing just one test, so whenever I find myself not being able to focus or feeling stressed, I just get up and go to a different part of my room for a bit.
Take care of yourself. This sounds cliche, but I seriously recommend it. Whenever I’m feeling all gross and unmotivated, I wash my facial, maybe put on a face mask, or take a shower and wear my favorite hoodie or over-sized shirt.
Clean your surroundings. This one may only be for some people, but I know I love cleaning and often clean whenever I have a bad day. But, even if I don’t do that, I like to clean at least my desk area, so I have a clean place to get work done. Plus, with the right music, anything can be fun.
Talk. One thing that I recommend to my friends and family is to talk to other people. Regardless of what it is. Try ranting about what’s going on or about your favorite TV show. (I will be listing some resources where you can talk to professionals and other people that might be going through the same thing at the end of the blog.)
Read a book or watch a new show. This is actually how my obsession with Gordon Ramsay started. Whenever I have a bad day, I change into my favorite hoodie, grab some snacks and water, and put on some sort of TV show.
Remind yourself how awesome you are. Sometimes all we need (and can afford to do) is remind ourselves of how far we have come and how no matter what the circumstances, we will get through this.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all enjoyed this and find it to be helpful. Here are some resources for anyone who might be struggling or just wants someone to talk to-
I know these are a few, I just do now want to link websites that I have heard aren’t that useful since I only want what is best for all of you. I have been recommended these resources by people I trust and I have even reached out to the crisis line (they are helpful, but are just there to show you to helpful sources.)
If you all want, I can do some more research and try to find more helpful resources and tips to help cope with mental health.
Feel free to leave some resources down below or some things you might do to de-stress.
Remember that you are loved and will forever be valid. If you ever need to talk feel free to DM me here or on insta @you_arelovedtodayandforver.
Another thing I love about October is the writing challenge! I always try to complete one, but usually don’t find much success. But, since I have been trying to get better at achieving goals. So, here are some prompts I am going to try this month.
Feel free to use them (if you want to).

If you got this far, thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it. Feel free to leave more ideas for the challenge or more prompts in the comments below. As always, remember that you are loved and will forever be valid. xoxo.
I completely agree, you know since it is a legit website. To me, self-care is supposed to help you relax, but sometimes it could be things that we might not to do. Of course, with such busy schedules and daily activities that we all have to complete it can be hard to relax or even take care of yourself.
Self-care does not have to be extradionory or luxurious. It can be simple and the most basic of things.
Self-care can also be practiced anytime and any-day. It does not have to be practiced every-day either, just whenever you feel like you might need it or when you have the time.
Self-care shouldn’t be something that makes you more stressed.
Now, here are some ideas-
Note: These may not work for everybody and I am in no way trying to recommend this in replacement of a professional or anything professionals may recommend
Take a relaxing bath and maybe even use a body scrub or your favorite scented soap
Watch your favorite movie/tv show or read your favorite book
Write down how you are feeling or things you are grateful for
Call up a family member or a friend
Cook yourself your favorite meal or order in
Play your favorite music
Go for a run/walk/jog and clear your head
Clean your room or house-sometimes a clean environment can help us feel better plus you”ll feel more accomplished
Throw a dance party
Dress up in your favorite outfit(s) and take pictures of yourself to remind yourself how beautiful you are and how you deserve the world
Do your skin-care routine
Take a nap
Meditate or do some yoga
Here are some relaxing music you can listen to to help you relax, if you wan to :)) (There are also some videos you can watch that have relaxing music and donate to a good cause.)
I hope you all enjoyed this post, feel free to leave some self-care suggestions down below or what more you would like to see here. Remember that you are loved and will forever be valid. xoxo.
As you all know, I recently did a blog post on different types of goals (that you can check out by clicking the link). But, that inspired me to write this post.
So, the way that I see that is that weekly goals help us bring one step closer to achieving our goals.
Every Monday (or Sunday) I like to sit down and break down everything and see what I want to achieve this week.
As I said in my previous post, I like to categorize my goals. My main categories include family, educational, school/work, fitness, hobby, and personal (It’s a lot, I know).
So, let’s try to set some weekly goals and plan how we are going to achieve them.
Some of my weekly goals this week are-
Spend an hour every-day with my family without electronics
Contiune to learn Spanish
Get my science grade up
Do yoga every-day
Keep journaling
Dress up more (it makes me feel cute)
I plan on achieving these by making a routine and sticking to it. By pushing myself to stay motivated I now I will be able to get it done.
Another thing you can do is write down your steps or try to include these in your daily to-do list (I personally like to do this). By constantly reminding yourself of what you want to do, you can achieve it.
I know this was a short post, but I hope you like it nonetheless. Feel free to comment some of your weekly goals and how you might plan on achieving them.
Remember that you are loved and will forever be valid. xoxo.
I know all I do is talk about goals, but come it’s not that annoying, right?
I actually did some research for this one, to see what are some different types of goals people might set for themselves or is recognized by professionals.
First, let’s dicuss my pesonal catergories I like to sort my goals into (and some examples for each catergory.)
Fitness, hobby, personal, and school/work
Fitness
Do yoga for an hour
Run/walk 2 miles
Do a HIIT workout every-day
Do arm exercises
Hobby
Sew 50 masks
Write a new chapter everyday
Learn a new song on whatever instrument you play
Learn something new about your hobby (new art styles, different fashion eras, history of music, etc)
“Process, performance, and outcome goals have a linear relationship. This is important because if you achieve your process goals, you give yourself a good chance to achieve your performance goals. Similarly, when you achieve your performance goals, you have a better chance of achieving your outcome goal.”
You can check out the link to see what examples they have for each goal, but here are some of my own personal goals-
Process goals
“…specific actions or ‘processes’ of performing.”
Eat healthier
Play my guitar for 30 minutes every-day
Do yoga every-day for an hour
Write a chapter every-day
Performance goals
“… based on personal standard. “
Get into a course you might want to take
Buy a new house
Run 2k in 20 minutes
Climb a mountain
Outcome goals
“…based on winning.
Win something
Get your dream job
Win employee of the month (do they still do that?)
This article was actually nice to read and I took away a lot of things that I added to my catergories. Here are some from the article-
Family
Take time out of your day to cll your parents/grandparents/ guardians
Go out for coffee with siblings or cousins
Encourage your family to put away the electronics and spend some time together to spend time together
Go out on a hike with your family
Financial
Create a budget for a vaction (or something else)
Start an emergency fund
Learn how to spend less money
Start to invest
Educational
Create a list of things you want to learn
Learn a new language
Read more
Plan to take a new class/course
I hope you liked this! This was just a post on different types and different catergories of goals. You do not need to set goals to fit the things I have listed above.
This post felt a little random compared to other things I have posted, but I hope to expand my blog and write all types of things. Hopefully, this was entertaining to read. Feel free to leave suggestions of things I should write about in my blog!
As always, remember that you are loved and will be forever valid, xoxo.
